As an SPK-Accredited School (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) MISB is authorised to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and the Cambridge International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE) side by side with the Indonesian National Curriculum, providing all our students with a globally-recognised, reassuringly independent, and seamless route to success - both in and out of the classroom, at university and beyond.
MISB-E offers both the Cambridge International Primary Programme and the Indonesian National Curriculum.
Cambridge Primary, typically for 6-11 year olds, gives the school a curriculum framework to develop English, Mathematics, and Science skills, knowledge, and understanding. The school is adopting the National Indonesian Curriculum which is thematic in nature and integrates the following subjects - Bahasa Indonesia, PKN, IPA, IPS and Matematika.Specialty subjects which are offered on a bi-weekly basis include Art, Music, Computer, and Physical Education; these may be taught both in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Mandarin is taught as a foreign language in all levels.
Classroom learning is enriched by semestral fieldtrips, the Grade 6 students' annual Community Study Week, curricular and co-curricular activities.
